The Old Mill is a quirky period Cotswold stone property that started life as a weavers cottage over two hundred years ago and has evolved into the comfortable, sprawling house it is now.
It has 6 bedrooms,5 bathrooms [4 of which are ensuite] and a cloakroom which makes it ideal for large groups.
The layout - it is built on a slope like a triangle on its side and has entrances at different levels - enables a large number of people to gather together but still have the ability to find a peaceful corner if they want some time alone.
At one end of the building is the ground floor bedroom with its dedicated bathroom is well away from the bustle of the kitchen and dining room where the whole party can come together to eat. We find that most of our guests love the fact that they can sit down and share a meal together.
The kitchen is well equipped for mass catering and, if you want to relax and be looked after, we can arrange for food to be brought in or a wonderful chef to cook for you.
There is no one sitting room that can take all 16 but there are three separate receptions which mean that some can play games or talk privately while others watch TV.
French doors open out from the dining room onto the terrace and from there to the rambling garden with a little stream and a pond.
From £795 for a 2 night midweek winter break, £4950 for a full week at Christmas at The Old Mill.
Prices include linen, towels, utilities and logs in the winter months.
At Christmas the house is decorated and we supply a real tree.
To secure the cottage, you need to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit with the balance and a £150 refundable damage deposit due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
If you are booking within 6 weeks, the whole amount is due when you book.
