A beautiful, late 19th century Victorian lodge house providing 5 star luxury in the romantic Scottish Highlands. The house has recently been tastefully and sensitively refurbished, and retains many charming period features.

The accommodation is attractively furnished and boasts the highest quality fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings. The owners attention to detail ensures that you will find Egyptian cotton bed linen, soft white towels, bathrobes, slippers and Arran Aromatic toiletries.

Full WiFi is also included as well as the use of a BBQ, full SKY HD TV package and SONOS music entertainment system (kitchen only).

The property comfortably sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms and boasts 4 bathrooms (3 of which are ensuite). A welcoming, spacious drawing room with open fire and bay window overlooks attractive gardens. A west facing conservatory leads from the drawing room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, and is in a Rennie MacKintosh country style. You will also find a snug room with TV entertainment system and a dining room that can seat up to 10 people, with an open fire and its own private bar.

The property is fully centrally heated and is inclusive of all power and oil consumption.

Outside you will find a private, enclosed garden with garden furniture, BBQ and a glorious view of the famed mountain Ben More that towers above the house.

Guests are very welcome to come and feed the chickens and ducks who reside by the pond adjacent to the house.

Use of mountain bikes, rowing boats, Canadian canoes, fishing on 2 lochs and a river on the Portnellan Estate are all inclusive.

Additional activities that can be arranged include: a treasure hunt around the estate, clay pigeon shooting, outside catering, a piper to play and even a fireworks display.

Our onsite reception provides DVD library, board games, small essentials shop and plenty of information on local events, attractions and activity.
