We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage felt very homely and cosy. Plenty of room and all the decoration was very warm and welcoming. Thank you for the welcome snacks!

Lots of crockery and a good range of saucepans and oven ware which we appreciated. The property was spacious and lovely and warm for a winter stay. Plenty of local walks , pubs and shops to explore. It was a wonderful space for our family holiday. The only thing to have improved it would have been a larger kettle as it was max 4 cups and there were 5 of us. Also a pair of oven gloves would have been useful but these are tiny niggles.

The garden is safe for children and we found it a very quiet location. Stow on the Wold has lots of cafes, pubs and shops with a coop and large Tesco's in easy walking distance. It's a great base for many attractions and local towns. We visited Cotswold wildlife park and the model village at Bourton on the water, which were very close. Oxford, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford on Avon are a little further, but within an hour's drive.
