The property was well maintained. Big rooms with comfortable beds. Very thoughtful to keep everything we need in the kitchen. Thanks for the lovely stay.

We met Lindsay when we arrived and she was very welcoming and showed us round. Every bedroom has a en suite shower room. The hot tub was lovely, very well maintained with clear water and they provided plastic glasses so you can have a drink in it. The view from the hot tub to the estuary isn’t as good as I thought it would be as there was a wall in the way but if your tall you may still get a good view, none the less, the sound of only birds tweeting was so relaxing. There’s also a tarn which is only a short walk and you can walk a bit further and get an amazing view of the estuary. I would highly recommend this cottage, if I came back to the Lake District I would stay here again. It’s easy to get around from it, close to the main roads and pubs but far enough away for it to feel like your out in the countryside and pure peace and quiet.
