There are lots of bike routes and walks from your front door and plenty to do in the local area, visit the Solway Aviation Museum or jump to the west of the village where you will find, Campfield Marsh rspb Reserve and Wetlands Centre, here you can enjoy the spectacular local wildlife. Why not take a train from Carlisle which has a regular train service to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Newcastle, or take the beautiful Settle line. The famous Scottish town of Gretna Green is just 22 miles away, visit the wedding anvil or enjoy a day shopping at the outlet village.
