Occupying an ideal location just a stone s throw from the Lancashire coast, this property offers easy access to Lancaster, the Forest of Bowland, the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, and Morecombe Bay. A short drive away is the popular seaside destination of Blackpool with its family friendly attractions, including Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Zoo, Grand Theatre and Winter Gardens, as well as the famous Blackpool Illuminations. Those more active can head for a walk or go cycling along the famous Lancaster Canal. This large, sprawling lodge is accessed from the road via a long, twisting driveway. Enter the single story property into the entrance hall and move into the spacious, cosy lounge. Offering plenty of comfy seating, a large Lakeland stone fireplace and mood lighting, it s a perfect space for relaxing or watching a movie on the large TV. From here, head around the corner to the dining room, which features a long dining table and seating for everyone perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The large, modern kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and breakfast bar seating area. A utility room is just off the kitchen and has storage space along with a sink, washing machine and condensing dryer. Off the hall, you will find an atrium an ideal space for sitting and relaxing and the main bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Continuing along the hallway you come to four comfy bedrooms: two doubles, an adjacent king size with en suite shower room and WC, and a twin room. The twin room has its own access to the atrium. All bedrooms have floor to ceiling windows. Outside to the rear is a large patio area with a hot tub and garden furniture for dining alfresco, as well as a fire pit with seating. A full size table tennis table and other indoor and outdoor games make this family home the perfect place for children to play. The lodge is pet friendly, and there is plenty of private parking space.
