A large character farmhouse sleeping up to eight guests, located on a small farm estate and surrounded by rural countryside with great views across the rolling fields. The property is heavily beamed and rambling with lots of space for all generations. There is a large family sized kitchen and 2 sitting rooms, a utility room and 2 shower rooms on the ground floor. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and an attic room perfect for a teenager. Outside there is a garden and great country walks from the doorstep. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead when outside the property. The pretty town of Mayfield is close by as is Tunbridge Wells, offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Battle is close by and there are plenty of historic house and famous gardens to see in the area.

The farmhouse was brilliant, amazing house, gorgeous location and very well equipped. It was perfect for our family to be able to get together for our first holiday together since COVID struck. I don’t think you would find a more beautiful five bedroomed house in a better location anywhere. Perfect.

Our extended family really enjoyed our stay in this house and its beautiful setting. There is loads of kitchen equipment, crockery and glasses (including plastic ones for children) and plenty of room to roam around inside and out. The only indoor dining table is in the kitchen, and seats 9. The house is, I believe, mostly sixteenth century, and has many quirky features, plus uneven floors, low beams and cubby holes. The outside space is not manicured and there is a lot of wildlife to enjoy, as well as beautiful shrubs and trees. The three-year old loved his room + tiny play room in the attic! A cot, bath, potty, changing mat and highchair was provided for the baby.

Beautiful spacious property in a quiet location. Fantastic extra touches here like bottles of water and a chocolate next to the bed make this property really special. Nothing is too much trouble for the property cleaner who you see in the nearby properties checking you have everything you need and leaving extra biscuits and sweets. Dog bowls and dog biscuits were also very much appreciated. All in all a fantastic stay in a beautiful house with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful spacious property in a quiet location.
