For couples having a break out of season, the South West Coastal Path winds up the cliffs from Polzeath and offers a fantastic opportunity for short walks or longer hikes. The art gallery and smaller shops in Polzeath are great for a potter around and to pick up gifts (for yourself!) or to stock up on your surfing gear at Ann's Cottage surf shop. For a holiday like no other, choose Beach Haven.

Note: For families enjoying holidays together and wanting to be close to each other, why not enjoy the convenience of having your group stay in the same location as this property can be booked with Ref. 1110304, together sleeping up to 12 guests.

Polzeath's sandy, rock-pool-lined beach is one of the best surfing beaches in the country. The South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, passes through Polzeath. Wadebridge, set along the River Camel, offers shops, pubs, restaurants, and North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed mediaeval houses, and celebrated restaurants, is worth exploring. Newquay's 11 miles of golden beaches are within driving distance. The house is nice and big with lots of parking although the interior is very tired. We found the games room a great addition.

In general the property is a bit run down and in need of little renovation. eg Sofa broken, double glazing windows with condensation, in need of decorating ) However, it didn't really spoil anything and i guess the price to some extent reflected the condition of the house. We had a great holiday and the location is brilliant.

Luckily, we met the owner who sorted out any problems we had straight away. She kindly brought us a bottle of wine. The maintenance people attended at 8am on the day we were leaving due to the downstairs loo not working, which didn't really bother us as there were other loo's. Otherwise we had nothing to do with Bray except paying for the holiday, we saw no one and heard nothing, except I received a call today while I was at work to ask for feedback. I hope this will suffice. Thank you.
