One of a small terrace of traditional stone cottages in a desirable location, taking full advantage of the coastal views and Swanage town amenities, a popular seaside resort since Victorian times. Benefitting from almost direct access to the coastal path, Swanage is a short stroll away with its various restaurants, public houses and shops, plus its miles of sandy beach. Swimming, boating, fishing, diving and paddling can be enjoyed here. Head west along the coastal path to enjoy the delights of Durlston and then Worth Matravers, Kimmeridge and Lulworth. Bird lovers may particularly enjoy Brownsea Island as well as the rspb site at Arne. The Swanage Steam Railway service links this coastal resort with the charming and historic village of Corfe Castle. This peninsular of land is in the south of Dorset, famous for its sandy beaches, stunning countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site an area not to be missed. On entering the cottage there is a living area with comfortable seating and TV, as well as a kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, refrigerator, small freezer and dishwasher. A staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a lovely double bedroom with stunning sea views across the bay. On the same floor there is a tiled shower room with a built in shower and a WC. Further along is an attractive bunk bedroom. Another flight of stairs takes you up to a third bedroom with a super king sized bed and yet more superb sea views. A second shower room with WC and washing machine can be found in a small outbuilding accessed via the kitchen and up a small flight of seven fairly steep steps. This is ideal for use when returning from the beach. Outside, the cottage has a walled courtyard style front garden overlooking the ocean. Outdoor furniture is provided so that meals can be enjoyed outside whilst enjoying the captivating views across the sea. An unallocated roadside parking permit is provided for one car to park at the rear of the cottages. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 super king sized, 1 double, 1 bunk bed. 2 shower rooms 1 shower room with built in shower and a WC, 1 shower room with WC at the top of steep flight of steps. Electric cooker and hob, microwave, refrigerator, small freezer, washing machine. Towels can be provided at an additional charge. Unallocated road parking permit for 1 car. Regret no Wi Fi. Short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. TV in living area. Access to the cottage is down a short, fairly steep slope.
