The kitchen/diner oozes character, with original beams and exposed stonework throughout, whilst paired with sleek cabinetry, appliances and a convenient breakfast bar, the perfect place for rustling up delicious meals. Gather in the dining room/conservatory, enjoying views out to the garden, where you can dine, host, and socialise the night away, or if the weather allows, set the patio table and relish in an alfresco affair whilst enveloped by pretty blooms, extensive lawns, and rural Gloucestershire. The sitting room offers an elegant area to unwind, bordered with traditional panelling and a lovely woodburning stove, where you can relax and unwind, or if you fancy a competitive evening, set up a board game in the games room. Start your morning with a dog walk through the 30-acres of private grounds, before taking a trip to the market town of Winchcombe, brimming with shops, eateries, and pubs, where you can also marvel at the historic architecture and landmarks, including Winchcombe Museum, and Sudeley Castle, where Elizabeth Hurley tied the knot, with its numerous antique shops, boutiques, cosey pubs and tea rooms. Venture to the vibrant, spa town of Cheltenham, where you can explore the beautiful Pitville Park and stroll along the boating lake, before sampling the local delicacies; be sure to attend a race day if you’re in the local area. Within a short drive, you’ll reach the likes of Broadway and Snowshill, perfect for a scenic walk, or you can drive up Fish Hill to reach Chipping Campden, Blockley and Moreton. Manor Farm offers a truly special escape in the heart of the Cotswolds, perfect for all ages and interests.

The bustling, Fairtrade town of Winchcombe, a conservation site, lies above the River Isbourne, midway between Cheltenham and Broadway. Visitors can sample a mouthwatering array of local produce in the town's restaurants, wine bars, tea shops and delis, or stroll around the eclectic range of local shops, all located along the three main streets, which remain full of character with their honey-coloured stone and timbered exterior. The town also plays host to music and arts festivals, country shows and farmers’ markets. Guided walks around the town are on offer throughout the summer months, while Winchcombe lies on the intersection of the Cotswold Way, Gloucestershire Way, Warden's Way and Windrush Way, providing ample walking to suit all abilities. The quintessential English village of Broadway is just a short drive away and offers individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and hotels, including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, popular for centuries and now offering spa facilities. The regency spa town of Cheltenham boasts beautiful Georgian architecture and a delightful range of shops, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions, including the famous racecourse. Many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages lie to the east, whilst the beautiful World Heritage city of Bath, Shakespeare's birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick, with its magnificent castle, are all within an hour’s drive.

A 4x4 would be needed if snow was around. Having said this, it is very well equipped with a large lounge and very characterful dining conservatory with its own heating system. There are walks directly from the doorstep in lovely countryside. The wood burner in the lounge was needed every evening and a shame there were so few logs left given the cost of the property, but more could be purchased from the owners. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and has two cookers which is a good bonus given we wanted a property where we could self cater. Bedrooms are well furnished with quality beds and linen and the bathrooms have all be fitted with good showers / baths etc. Its a spacious and well maintained property and we enjoyed spending the New Year there. Loved everything about this house (although one bedroom is possibly not suitable for the elderly due to narrow stairs and low beams and low doorways). The dining table in the conservatory was fabulous and great for large gatherings, and the games rooms was a real hit with all ages. Grateful to have the opportunity to stay in this lovely Cotswold farm house.

! Manor Farm is a beautiful property which has been finished to a really high standard with a "home from home" feel. There is plenty of room within the property so you do not feel on top of one another and there is everything you would want - games room, great wi-fi and a brilliant kitchen with every utensil you need! The setting of the property is wonderful - the windows simply frame the lovely gardens and countryside - very relaxing! Would love to return in the future and would highly recommend Manor Farm!
