The village itself has a great pub just 100 metres away serving food and drinks, as well as a takeaway for those nights you fancy a night off cooking. A little further afield (1.3 miles) there is a range of shops, where you can stock up on essentials for your stay. The charming sailing village of Waldringfield is nearby (3.1 miles) and is a lovely place to walk along the estuary spotting a host of wildlife. If you love being on the water, you can hire paddleboards or take a boat tour and cruise along the Deben River viewing this wonderful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
