Alternatively, head to West Midland Safari Park for a family-friendly day out with animals, a theme park and discovery trails! Blakedown is a lovely village in North Worcestershire adjacent to the Wyre Forest. There are a range of amenities including a village butcher, grocer, local store, and two pubs providing superb cuisine and real ales. The Wyre Forest, one of the country's greatest ancient woodlands, is a registered sssi and National Nature Reserve, giving tourists beautiful walks and cycle trails as well as many rare species of wildlife, flora, and fauna.
