Murton offers an excellent village shop and a welcoming pub, and is just a 1.5 mile drive from the family-friendly beach of Caswell Bay (or you can walk it in 1 mile via farmland and woods). Many more gorgeous beaches are within easy reach, including Pwll Du, 2 miles, and Oxwich Bay, 7.5 miles, while if you feel like striking out inland you’re just on the edge of the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are plenty of lovely walks and bike rides to enjoy. For some retail therapy and to explore a variety of places to eat and drink, characterful Mumbles is just 2 miles while the city of Swansea is 5.5 miles.
