The back garden is full enclosed and furnished, offering a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the fantastic views while the children play on the lawn. The centre of the village of Llandysul is just a 15-minute walk away and offers a small selection of shops, pubs and tea rooms. There are a number of attractions in the surrounding area, such as the Da Mhile Distillery, the canoeing club and the National Wool Museum. A short drive away are the beaches and castles of Pembrokeshire, offering a fantastic family day out. Llandysul is a busy little village with a selection of shops, tea rooms and pubs, as well as its own canoeing club and national cycle route 82. Boat trips to spot dolphins, whitewater rafting or a trip on a steam railway may appeal, or how about a day out to explore all the historic castles, mills and formal gardens?

We were surprised to find that the cottage is in the owners back garden and we had to drive through their entrance to the property to access the cottage. We prefer to be much more isolated on holidays and as others have commented we felt the lack of privacy with some windows not having curtains. This isn't what the photos of the property suggest. We were also very disappointed with the lack of dishwasher and will certainly be checking other properties in future for this. Have never stayed in a cottage without a dishwasher before but have never specifically checked for one either. Our bed was uncomfortable and we struggled to sleep towards the end of our stay. The sofas are also not very comfortable for lounging around on the wet days. The owners were helpful when we had a problem with the water and this was sorted quickly. The area around is beautiful and there is a lot to do so would definitely return to the area.
