Located just a 10 minute walk from Crantock's golden beach, Berwyn is a wonderful family and pet friendly holiday home with something to offer everyone no matter what their age or the season. Sleeping up to 10 in five bedrooms, the house has lots of charm and character, as well as a lovely south facing terrace, fully enclosed garden and first floor balcony.

Berwyn is a luxury Victorian terrace house, which has been completely refurbished inside to incorporate its wonderful period features, including tessellated tiles in the entrance hall, wood floors, beams and pretty tiled fireplaces. These original features are now effortlessly combined with modern day elegance and sophistication.
All the rooms are tastefully decorate at Berwyn with bright neutral walls and good quality fixtures and fittings, as well as stylish yet comfortable furniture.

Downstairs the house has two living rooms, a cosy snug with armchairs and sofa for quiet evenings away from the rest of the group and a large spacious lounge with big comfy sofas, open fire and TV, perfect for a family get together, watching a movie or searching the internet, which is included in the price of the house.
On the opposite side of the house is a very nice dining area with wood floors and table that easily seats up to 10 for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The well equipped galley kitchen has direct access to the garden and is fitted with an array of appliances, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer and double range oven with induction hob.
A separate handy utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

At the top of the first flight of stairs is one of two family bathrooms feature a classic roll top bath ideal for long hot soaks after a day exploring the local area. The balcony is also accessed from this floor and has its own table and chairs for eating outside.

A second flight of stairs leads to four bedrooms and the second family bathroom, which has a large shower great for washing off sandy feet. Bedrooms on this floor, include a standard double, a pretty twin and two flexible double/twin bedrooms with zip and link beds, which can be set up however you like. All these rooms are elegantly furnished and feature their own vanity unit, as well as plenty of storage space.

The Master Bedroom is located up a private set of stairs and is wonderfully large and enjoys views over both the village and local countryside. The bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite shower room, walk-in wardrobe and TV.

To the rear of the house is a very nice south facing garden and terrace area for alfresco dinning. The garden is fully enclosed making it ideal for young children or dogs. Access to the garden is via the lounge, kitchen or utility room. A separate terrace area is also located to the front of the house.

Berwyn is located just a short walk down the road and across the sand dunes from the beach, which allows dogs throughout the year. The beach is great at any time of the year, whether you are looking for somewhere to walk off the Christmas dinner, try your hand at surfing, built a sand castle or just relax with a picnic. Crantock village centre is also within walking distance of the house and offers two very good pubs, which serve excellent food, a well stocked village shop and a cafe. During the high summer season boats are available to take you from Crantock over the estuary to Newquay where there are a wide range of shops, as well as one of the best beaches for surf in the world.

There are plenty of wonderful places to visit and things to see when staying at Berwyn. The North Cornwall coast offers excellent coastal footpaths for keen walkers, country lanes for cycling and horse riding is available close by too. Other day trips in the area can include Truro, The Eden Project and Dartmoor.

Price information

The price of Berwyn ranges from 795 for seven nights in the low season to 2,695.00 for a week in the peak summer holidays.
