Set within mature gardens with trees lawns and a large pond and lots of seating areas. There is enough space for your party to have 'altogether' memories but lots of smaller quiet places for reflection or 'romantic' moments. Two rooms have balconies which have views over the garden and surrounding hills.
The property is ideally situated for walking cycling or water sports at nearby Carsington Water. Close to the Peak District, other nearby attractions include several stately homes, the spa towns of Matlock and Buxton, The National Stone Centre, Ecclesbourne Railway and locally, Stoney Wood with its acclaimed Starsdisc.
Wirksworth itself is a quaint, unspoilt town with independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and a small cinema. There are Well Dressings and Carnival on May Bank holiday. The Festival Arts and Architectural and Clypping of the medieval church of St Mary's are both held in September.

There is a well equipped large open plan kitchen including a range with gas top and fan ovens, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine.
The Garden Room has a bespoke table with seating for 16 and is fully glazed giving delightful views over the garden and parterre and an idea vantage point for watching the many birds and squirrels.
A snug area with bed settee and chairs, french door access to the veranda over looking the garden is adjoined to the open plan to the Garden room and the kitchen.

Outside there are delightful gardens which attract a large variety of birds, squirrels and hedgehogs. Frogs, toads, newts and dragonflies make their home in and around the large pond, bats visit at dusk. There are several dens for children and a herb garden for guests use.
There is plenty of on site parking.
