Accessed via a tree lined driveway, Pine Lodge is neatly tucked away in a quiet setting, and backs on to a large field, which allows for stunning views of the local countryside, as well as glimpses of Saunton Sands, and Lundy Island in the distance.

Downstairs the cottage has a bright and spacious living room with wide-screen TV, DVD player, Nintendo Wii, comfy leather sofas and a lovely wood-burner. Next door is a pretty dining room with large dining table to seat up to 10 and an open fire. Overlooking the rear patio is the well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room with range cooker, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a very handy utility room with additional dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.

Located off the utility room is the heated garage where you will discover table tennis, table football and a dart board (darts not provide).

There are five good sized bedrooms at Pine Lodge, including a downstairs double with TV, sofa and en-suite shower room, a further double, a pretty twin, a flexible double/twin with zip and link beds and a stunning Master with private balcony and en-suite shower room. Just a little further along the road is Fremington where there is an award-winning fish and chips restaurant and a fantastic Chinese. Fremington also has a pretty quay, which lies on the estuary of the river Taw and was once part of the Tarka railway line. At the quay there is a very nice cafe, which is a welcome stop for those cycling or walking the Tarka Trail, an almost completely traffic free pathway.

A few minutes in the car from Pine Lodge is North Devon's large market town, Barnstaple. This historic town with traditional Pannier Market is home to a range of high street stores, a multi-screen cinema, a theatre and a very good leisure and tennis centre.
