Lee Wick Farm Holiday Cottages.
The Cart Lodge is around 2000 sq ft of living space in a beautifully converted granary / cart lodge and sleeps 12. There is a family bedroom (king size bed, with single bed that adapts to another double) downstairs and upstairs a double bedroom (both en-suite) plus two twin rooms and a double sofa bed. For bigger parties book Stable Cottage as well (only 15 yards apart) for an additional double / family room and twin room plus a further double sofa bed. In total 19 guests can be accommodated in these two beautiful cottages set in a fantastic rural location.
In addition three Megapods are situated in a paddock facing the sea at Lee Wick Farm and these are very popular with adults and children alike. The Pods offer cosy glamping all year round, inside you will find a loo/wet room, double bed, sofabed, small kitchen area with fridge, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster and a table and chairs for four people. Outside the Pods have their own decks with outside seating, BBQ and fire-pit alongside.
We also have 3 Armadilla Pods sleeping couples only, in a double or twin beds. Underfloor heating, mood lighting, Ipod dock, Bluetooth sound system and DVD player. Internal loo and shower, small kitchen area and good storage including a wardrobe and mirror.
Our CargoPod, which sleeps 4, is situated in its own small orchard alongside our livery yard, in a peaceful location away from the main farm. The idea is to bring everything you need minus your tent! Pet friendly. There is a BBQ and fire pit for your use.
Lee Wick Farm is a partly redundant area of our farm situated alongside our livery yard. A peaceful location offering fantastic views across open fields and to the sea beyond.
Walking and cycling around the village and local area, catch the foot ferry from Point Clear beach to the popular sailing town of Brightlingsea or across to Mersea Island. Visit Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town with fantastic Roman and Norman history, or take a trip to the fantastic Colchester Zoo.
Use the location as a base for the many tourist attractions of the Essex & Suffolk coastline and countryside.
Passes provided for local nature reserves including Colne Point at the end of Lee Wick Lane, fishing at our reservoir can be arranged.
