Sleeps 21: Country house sleeping 16 and cottage sleeping 5

A wonderful location for intergenerational holidays, Northolme Hall is a spacious country house with superb facilities, just 5 miles from the Lincolnshire coast and 7 miles from the Wolds AONB. Together with the nearby cottage – great for those in the group who need a little more privacy - the Hall sleeps up to 21 in 11 bedrooms, with 5 bathrooms.

There really is something for everyone at Northolme! The ‘wow factor' indoor heated swimming pool is sure to be popular but with tennis courts, cinema room/bedroom, air hockey, table tennis and pool tables, there are plenty of options! Children will just love the 'Victorian mansion' play house and the substantial play park with slides, double climbing towers and swings.

The Hall is beautifully furnished and with its sashed windows and high Victorian ceilings, it is sure to lend a sense of grandeur to any occasion. Located in the old market town Wainfleet All Saints, the property dates from 1866 and is surrounded by its own 12 acre estate – 3 acres of formal gardens and 8 acres of paddocks and manège.

The town is sited on the banks of the River Steeping and was once a thriving medieval port. It has been separated from the coast by time and silt. It is now home to the famous Batemans Brewery and the frequent and entertaining tours are a popular attraction.

If you can’t resist the lure of the sea, the wonderful Lincolnshire coast is a short drive away. Skegness is the first choice for great entertainment, family attractions and traditional seaside amusements. If you like things a little wilder, head to the Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve. This untamed coastline runs from Skegness to The Wash and is the arrival point destination for thousands of migrating birds after a long winter. Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is just 15 minutes away and is home to Europe’s only dedicated Parrot Sanctuary and the largest collection of tigers in the UK. Travel 7 miles to the north of the town and you will reach the undulating splendour of the Lincolnshire Wolds. This is the highest land between Kent and Yorkshire and is a beautiful landscape of rolling hills, high plateau and wooded valleys.

Getting to Northolme Hall: The Hall is a short walk away from the town's railway station. London is around 3 and a half hours drive, the Midlands 2 hours.
