We have just completed an extensive refurbishment to transform Hilltop into a luxurious holiday home which sleeps up to 16 in seven bedrooms (plus cots) located just a few minutes’ walk away from a wonderful clean sandy beach at Mundesley on the North Norfolk Coast.

The imposing Edwardian villa was built in 1907 for Sir William Brampton Gurdon, the MP for North Norfolk, and until recently has been a very well loved family home – which you feel as you walk in! The house is conveniently located not only a few minutes’ walk to the beach but also a short walk from the quaint village where you will find a Post Office, Corner Stores, Fish and Chip shop and Pub. We have parking for up to 8 cars but the close proximity to the village and beach means you can have a car free holiday, especially if you book an online supermarket shop (if it arrives before you do Sarah will try her best to unpack it for you).

It has 7 bedrooms. 4 on the first floor and 3 on the second floor.
First Floor
Blakeney is a family room with a king size bed and set of 3 ft bunks and has sea and garden views. This room has an en-suite shower and WC
Cley has a king size bed and en-suite shower and WC and sea views.
Sheringham has a dual aspect with views over the gardens with a King size bed has shower within the room and an en-suite wc.
Salthouse is at the front of the house has twin 3ft beds and a side view towards the sea. This is adjacent to the family bathroom which has a roll top bath with a shower over.
Second Floor
Mundesley is a large double bedroom with a king size bed and the the best sea view.
Salthouse faces the front of the house and offers a king size bed
Cromer is a quirky room with sloping ceilings and twin 2ft 6 beds. This room is ideally suited to children - albeit shorter adults will be fine.

Mundesley, Salthouse and Cromer will use either the family shower room on the 2nd floor or the family bathroom below.

There is a large very well equipped kitchen - large 90cm oven, combination microwave, 2 dishwashers, washing machine, tumble dryer, 2 slow cookers, 2 very large fridges, a Nespresso Machine and lots of crockery and utensils

The dining room has a bespoke table which will seat 16 and the are two comfy lounges both have log fires and smart TVs.

Hot Tub in the third of an acre garden including a large furnished terrace and large gas BQQ.

The beach at Mundesley is just five minutes walk away and is considered one of Norfolk's finest - long and sandy with safe swimming at low tide and all the amenities and charm of a popular seaside resort. It is backed by a promenade lined with colourful beach huts and a popular Beach Café.

We welcome children of all ages - our 9 year old oversaw the development of the 'Den' and ensured we provided an outside Table tennis table, Table football table, Pool Table, wooden play house and various games and toy to keep the kids happy while you enjoy the hot tub and a glass of something bubbly. We also welcome up to 4 well behaved dogs for a small charge of £35 each.

In creating Hilltop we have built on the experience of owning another very popular holiday home Loke House in Cley-next-the Sea. Like Loke House we love Hilltop and hope you will too!

A warm welcome awaits you – including a large homemade cake – please let Sarah know if you require a gluten free version.
