Located in the heart of the stunning Yorkshire Dales the Barden bunk barn is an ideal get away for a relaxing break. perfect for families (particularly child friendly), outdoor activity groups and friends wanting an opportunity to chill out and enjoy the fabulous Dales countryside. A well behaved dog as part of the group is welcome but must be comfortably around other animals. We do not accept groups under 21 or stag/hen parties.

Nestled in the shadow of the 13th century ruin of Barden Tower, a former fortified hunting lodge, the barn has been converted from former stables into a well appointed group accommodation venue sleeping up to 24 people. The whole site, which consists of the ruined Barden Tower, the Priests House and newly renovated Barden Chapel, is grade 1 listed being one of the most important historical sites in the Yorkshire Dales. It boasts fantastic views of the valley with superb walks nearby, especially the river walk back to Bolton Abbey where you pass through ancient woods, pass the impressive Strid where the river narrows to just a couple of metres and can stop at the Cavendish Pavilion for a well earned coffee. Whilst fully self catering, you could dine at the next door Priests House especially for Sunday lunch or go to one of the pubs in nearby Appletreewick.

Consists of a large kitchen and dining area with a free play pool table and a mezzanine with a relaxing area and DVD and CD player. There are 2 bedrooms of 4, one of which has a double bed and 2 bedrooms of 8. Fully central heated throughout. There are 3 separate seating areas outside and space for 8 cars.

Available to hire for weekend, midweek or week long breaks.

Price information

Weekend £845 with midweek nights from £300. Prices are for exclusive use of the barn and include all bedding.
