The main living areas are sublime: spacious and stylish, they comprise a vast living room with two fabulous sofas and armchairs around the TV, alongside a delightful set of double doors which lead straight into the garden!
These glass doors extend along the side of the room, filling it with a warm glow from the wondrous Croatian sunshine! Beside the lounge area, there is a large dining table, complete with a fireplace at one end, ideal for getting cosy in the evenings!
The kitchen is also vast, with space for plenty of chefs to contribute to whipping up quite the treat! A dining table, great for more casual meals, is in the kitchen area, and also sits beside a full wall of glass leading directly to the garden!
There’s a children’s play area, with bean-bags and toys so that the youngsters can enjoy themselves just as much as you.
There are five lovely bedrooms, all of which are bright, spacious and luxuriously designed, with enormous beds, tasteful décor and soft, refreshing tones throughout.
There are four doubles and one twin, as well as cots available for those travelling with really young children. There is one bedroom on the ground floor, three more on the first floor and the final bedroom is found in a delightful annexe, with a private bathroom.

Out in the garden, you’ll find a fabulous private pool, enveloped in a row of loungers and casual seating areas, so you can alternate sunbathing with refreshing dips and never overheat!
The pool is equipped with counter-current swimming and a whirlpool for extra fun, and besides the pool there is even a sauna! The garden is surrounded by fencing for little-added privacy. Alfresco dining and a barbeque ensure you hardly also need to step inside, and out of the glorious sunshine!

Less than 15 minutes away, the largest city in the region is Pula, brimming with history and magnificent architecture. In early September the city comes alive with music and cultural events, many hosted in its ancient Roman Amphitheatre!
A very short drive from Pula, on the very southern tip of Istria, is the Kamenjak National Park where you can follow the ‘Dinosaur Path’ to discover dinosaur footprints and admire stunning views over the bay.
A charming heart-shaped peninsula in the north-west of Croatia, Istria is warm, welcoming and perfectly-sized – you can drive the length in around an hour, putting everything within easy reach!

Much like its neighbouring Italy, Istria is a gastronome’s paradise, home to world-class cuisine and endless rows of vineyards. Be sure to try the local wines, which are often sweet and fruity, using a wide variety of grapes including white Malvasia, red Terrano and Moscato.
Istria is especially famous for its truffles, which you will find served with any dish and sauce! Truffle flavoured olive oil is a typical product of the region, and indeed, you will hardly find a village which does not have its own Olive oil ‘supermarket’!
Both Rijeka and Pula have international airports within a short drive of the villa, while Pula is the central hub for those getting ferries, although there is a daily ferry between Poreč and Venice.
