There’s a large and elegant lounge with an assortment of seating, a chandelier, and an impressive open fire, which sets the scene for cosy evenings. The country-style kitchen is bright and cheerful with everything you need to rustle up family favourites, while the dining room invites convivial mealtimes with an open fire and country views. If you prefer to dine alfresco, the enclosed garden includes an outdoor dining table as well as benches and chairs for relaxing in the sun, amid the peaceful hum of farm life. The town of Tallow (2 miles) has a selection of shops and eateries, with more choices in the heritage town of Lismore (3.5 miles). Here, you can take a walking tour of the historic centre with the Lismore Heritage Centre, passing the castle and cathedral, and stroll along the riverside trail. Beginning from Dungarvan (19 miles), the Copper Coast is a spectacular stretch of coast, encompassing panoramic seascapes, cliffs, bays and coves with over 460 million years of geological history.
