About this property

Clinging to the top of a cliff on the northern coast of Ibiza, Villa Xiomara seems to not only defy gravity, but also any previously held doubts that you can ever truly escape. Welcome to another world.

Up to twelve enchanted guests can share Villa Xiomara, making it ideal for large groups of friends or a special family gathering. There are six double bedroom suites, all complete with luxuriously designed bathrooms, air conditioning, televisions and a safe. Most are also graced with their private terrace access, via floor to ceiling glazed doors.

The earthy tones, dramatic lighting and super modern décor, will make these bathing and sleeping quarters a delight to use.

Villa Xiomara’s interior has been hand-crafted by the owner, and since its inception, every care has been taken to reflect not just the mood of your breath-taking location, but the colours also.

Find natural stone floors, striking white walls, dark wood ceilings and cobalt blue accents. Your ultra-modern galley kitchen is fitted with high-quality appliances, serving a richly decorated dining area which connects to a sunken lounge and seating space. Open the full height, sliding, glazed doors and step outside to indulge yourself in Villa Xiomara’s external area.

The flair for minimalist, chic design flows out onto your expansive outdoor terrace. Your low backed, white chill-out seating is for admiring the view and relaxing to the max.

Beyond this area, you have a sun deck, featuring a bank of luxurious sun beds, facing the Mediterranean blue. Walk back towards the centre of the villa and your ultimate al fresco dining room stands proudly, overlooking the pool. Continue walking to reach another, equally unique sun terrace. Lie down on a gorgeous white sun bed and stay a while. You’ve arrived.

Villa Xiomara’s uniquely shaped, infinity swimming pool is out of this world. The colour is brilliant turquoise against the pure white walls, as it laps up against the length of your terrace.

Jump in, straight from the deck and swim towards the sea as is there’s nothing between you and the horizon. Rest your elbows on the infinity edge and admire the incredible view of the rocky coast on one side and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea on the other. How utterly dreamy!

It’s just a short drive to the charming village of San Miguel, which lies inland from its coastal sister, Puerto de San Miguel. Both destinations are delightful trips out for sightseeing, shopping, top quality restaurants and bars. The beach at Puerto de San Miguel is sandy and ideal for both sports and sunbathing.

It takes just half an hour to drive across the island, so if you wish to experience the world-renowned nightlife, beach-clubs and headlining DJs of Ibiza Town, they are within reach. But Villa Xiomara is situated in San Miguel, on the picturesque, northern coast of Ibiza, which is where you’ll want to get away from it all.

San Miguel village lies seven miles inland from the coast, high up on a hillside overlooking the rugged countryside between here and the port. This little tourist hotspot boasts a fortified church, market square, excellent selection of local restaurants and bars.

The charming artisan market on Thursday evenings sells local produce, gifts, leather and ceramic goods and is accompanied by a display of traditional folk dances. Otherwise, San Miguel lulls you into a slower pace of life which feels very, very welcome.

Down at the coast, Puerto de San Miguel has a full, sandy, family-friendly beach. Sheltering in a pretty cove, with cliffs on both sides, you’re far from the hustle and bustle of Ibiza’s leading resorts.

The calm sea is ideal for swimming, and the crystal-clear water and rock-strewn seabed make for perfect conditions for snorkelling and diving. Find the diving school and water sports centre in the harbour. While you’re here, stop for lunch at one of the many waterfront eateries. Port Balansat is claimed to be Ibiza’s most beautiful fish restaurant.

Before heading home to your fabulous private villa and pool, be sure to take the short walk up from the bay to the Caves of Can Marca. Used for years by pirates to hide their contraband, today these fascinating, dripstone caves are embellished by a beautiful light show.
