In the Bonaire area to the north east of Pollensa, Villa Febe is an attractive 3-bedroom villa which is only 2km from the beach. This location, and its gorgeous pool and terrace, makes it a great choice for those who love the sun, and the interiors will meet with the approval of design lovers too.
The house features wooden floors and purpose-built furniture, and offers lots of space. It gets lots of light from full-length windows and patio doors, which provide easy access to the terrace.
You can relax by the pool, either on a sun lounger or on the casual covered seating area. There is also a portable barbecue and an outdoor dining area, plus an outdoor shower for a post-swim freshen up.
Villa Febe is fully air-conditioned and features an open-plan living and dining area downstairs. You have a seating area with a Plasma TV and satellite channels, plus a DVD player and music system. The kitchen has all the appliances you may need, including a large, American-style fridge freezer.
Also on this level, you have a twin bedroom and a shower room, and a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and an en suite which incorporates a shower and whirlpool bath. Upstairs, there’s another spacious double bedroom with its own balcony.
This villa is within a reasonable drive of both Pollença and the port, Puerto de Pollença, which are around 16km and 19km away respectively. The attractive resort of Cala Sant Vicenc is also a similar distance away. A golf course just outside Pollença is easy to reach and, if you’re bringing the children, you have water parks like Hidropark for an aquatic day out. Its home town, Alcúdia, has much more to offer, including a historically rich Old Town and the beaches Platja d’Alcúdia and Platja de Muro on the Alcúdia Bay.
Alcudia is one of the most visited destinations in Majorca, with its history, charm and gothic revival architecture. It has plenty of magnificent, scenic sandy beaches for you to explore stretching several kilometres giving your party ample space to explore, some even offer great places to snorkel (not all of the beaches that can provide this activity will have the equipment to hire).
For the families or the kids at heart, there is the Alcudia Hidropark with a water golf course, water slides and pools. You may also pursue the streets of Alcudia for their open-air street markets and sample the food they have to offer.
Alcudia is not the only stunning place to visit nearby, you have Cala Sant Vicenc – home to three beautiful beaches, as well as Pollença just along the coast. Pollença is an alluring town, at the base of the Tramuntana mountains, which is the largest natural reserve on the island, well known for its beauty and scenery. It was recently declared a World Heritage site, and the mountain range offers spectacular views and is a wonderful destination for hikers, cyclists and even bird watchers.
Pollença is also rich in history with the famous Calvari steps which are a 365-step stairway that leads up to the chapel on the top of the hill known as Calvary. It is also home to a Romanesque 19th-century bridge that is shrouded in mystery, as no one knows for sure its origin.
There is so much to explore, experience and take in as you visit the nearby towns, there truly is something for everyone in this spectacular part of Spain.
