The entrance to this villa sets its regal tone – think long, tree-lined driveway, a vineyard and a big area of fruit trees, too, so there’s plenty of places for you to kick back and relax with your holiday read – or for little ones to go exploring. There’s also a large, lounger-lined swimming pool at Villa Mino, plus an alfresco dining table and barbeque space – perfect for cooking up some of the local fresh seafood. The Spanish and Portuguese cities of Valenca, Vilanova de Cerveira and Caminha are also close by, and make the perfect places for day trips. You could also make tracks for Vigo or Porto. Water lover?
