Set in the quiet hamlet of Shop in Morwenstow, 2 Jacques Cottages is the perfect retreat for a couple or family looking for a quiet relaxing Cornish break. Whether you are into walking, swimming, surfing or riding then this is the place for you, perfectly located for sightseeing with Boscastle, Tintagel, Hartland and Clovelly all nearby. Within 2/3 miles you will find the beautiful sandy beaches Sandymouth and Duckpool, a little further along the coast path is Northcott Mouth, a little further again will take you to the lovely Bude beaches - Crooklets and Summerleaze. The seaside town of Bude is only a short drive away which has a number of shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from, as well as the popular surfing beaches and unique swimming pool – a sea pool (the oldest in the country)! South of Bude you will find the popular surfing beach of Widemouth, a couple of miles further will take you to the wonderful cove of Crackington Haven. All these beaches are surfing beaches and all lifeguarded during the main holiday apart from Duckpool, surf hire and lessons are available at all beaches, so why not learn a new skill during your stay!? The garden and patio to the rear and courtyard at the front help you take advantage of the sun throughout the entire day. Whatever you decide to do with your day you will be able to come back to 2 Jacques Cottages light the fire and cosy up for the evening or for those sunny evenings you can relax in the garden or conservatory.

garden & parking: Parking to the rear of the property for 2 cars; sloping garden to the rear with patio area and garden furniture. Courtyard to the front of the property with garden furniture. Please note the garden has no secure fencing for dogs.
Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Security Deposit: £100
Pet Welcome: Maximum 1; £25 per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent; night storage and electric heaters throughout, open fire lounge, multi-fuel stove in dining room (logs not provided).
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen provided; towels not provided but can be hired from the owner at £5 per person per week – book through us.
Shop: 4 mls Pub: 2 mls
notes: No smoking, no babies or children under the age of 8. Whilst there are beds for 6 only 4 people may occupy. Mobile phone reception varies.
