Set on the Woodland Retreat resort close to Cornwall’s Bodmin Moor, Primrose is a classic, 3 bedroom cottage with a traditional feel throughout. The bright, spacious living and dining area are open plan, so there’s an airy feel throughout the downstairs of the cottage that means it’s easy to relax as a group. The wooden floor and colourful rugs add to the feel of a classic, stylish cottage, and the sofas are so comfortable that you can just curl up and forget the world for a while.
Step through the French doors and out on to your terrace to enjoy your private garden, and if you want to soak up the sun with a book you’ll find welcoming sun loungers waiting. On cooler days, the living space’s fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere inside, perfect for those long evenings catching up over a bottle of something bubbly.
Upstairs, you’ll find two double bedrooms and a twin, and there’s even a sauna so you can enjoy true relaxation at your leisure. You’ll have full use of the resort’s swimming pools, gym and tennis courts during your break, and there are dozens of picturesque walking trails to discover in the area too.
Within just half an hours drive, Primrose is conveniently situated to access a range of beaches from Tolcarne at Newquay, to Padstow Harbour and Watergate Beach.
Please note: The swimming pool is available for all ages. The Sauna, Steam room and Gym are only available for ages 16 and above.
Please be aware that the bar, restaurant and spa facilities at Woodland Retreat have been temporarily closed. The swimming pool, gym, tennis courts and children’s playground remain open for your enjoyment.

My family and I stayed in the woodlands Retreat in Wadebridge in the Cottage called Primrose. It was Excellent very very spacious for the 6 of us the first couple of days because there were so many rooms we kept losing each other. If you had young children the cottage catered for this too with games,books and a Large family gardens with garden chairs. sunloungers etc. There was child gates for the stairs if needed. A large Dining room and Large Lounge with 4 bathrooms spacious and lovely bathrooms. An excellent place to stay in such lovely surrounding with the birds flying around to greet you in the mornings, feeding the ducks and geese and the nice woodlands walk seeing many squirrels . tennis courts plenty of green areas to play outdoor sports. Overall it was ten out of ten, well done Blue Chip for securing a lovely cottage in nice relaxed surroundings.
