Fellside Barn is a detached barn conversion with panoramic views across open fields and fells. Wildlife and birdlife are in abundance. Coniston Water can be viewed from the top of the nearby fell.
The barn provides accommodation for four guests and is situated in a quiet hamlet, yet only two and a half miles from the bustling market town of Ulverston. Ulverston holds a market twice weekly and has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Had a brilliant stay. Lovely cottage and a great location to explore the Lake District. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place but the road was closed nearby and we weren’t warned about it so had to turn round and do a long detour. Once we knew it was easy to avoid but it would have been good to be told beforehand. Also I found the bed too hard.

Unkept approach to property gave poor first impression. Very overgrown sides to driveway, unswept leaves. Internally was reasonably clean but had cobwebs in bedroom and bathroom shabby with worn fittings. Kitchen fittings showing signs of wear. Good welcome pack provided. We feel the accommodation did not justify the price and was not up to the standard we expect from Rural Retreats.
