This lovely terraced cottage is quietly located in a raised position (steps and pathway access) with wonderful views over the beautiful Taw Estuary and just a short downhill stroll Appledore quayside with a great choice of pubs and restaurants and the short ferry crossing to the renowned estuary beach of Instow. Beechlea is the owners own home outside of the season and is a spacious,very comfortably furnished, well equipped and welcoming home from home in this picturesque fishing village. The pretty picture-postcard setting of colourful narrow streets lined with flowers, and a myriad of boats bobbing up and down on the estuary provides a fabulous backdrop for memorable holidays, and Beechlea is the perfect place to experience this. A very comfortable and attractive sitting room sits to the front of the property and offers wide ranging estuary and country views through a large picture window. The country style kitchen adjoins a separate dining room and leads into a sun room offering a quiet and comfortable retreat and access to rear garden. With three attractive first floor bedrooms (two with estuary views) a family bathroom on the first floor and a small well designed wet room on the ground floor the cottage is ideal for families, couples or friends. A rear terraced courtyard garden is fully enclosed and is ideal for leisurely barbecues or relaxing drinks on balmy summer evenings.  The rear garden is on many levels connected by stone steps (no handrails) with a small lawn, mature borders and a covered pond but would not be suitable for young children. A front seating area with table and chairs is ideal for the morning sun and the magnificent estuary views. There is so much to explore in this beautiful part of North Devon including large sandy surfing beaches, a rugged coastline with dramatic cliffs and coastal walks, picturesque villages and peaceful rural tranquillity and you will want to return year after year.
