The perfect setting for that group gathering you’ve been meaning to plan, Glebe Cottages is a collection of six beautiful listed cottages set in the quiet Devon countryside. Surrounded by five acres of formal gardens and woodland that’ll have the kids entertained for days, the cottages sleep between 2 and 6 guests each – so you can enjoy time with the people you don’t get to see often enough yet still enjoy your own space.
With an outdoor swimming pool, a children’s play area and a games room to share, Glebe Cottages have plenty to keep the whole group entertained during their stay. The onsite bar can be opened of an evening by arrangement so you can unwind over a few drinks and a chat, and bread baskets can be arranged in every cottage for a small charge so you’ll wake up to warm, fresh bread to make the perfect family breakfast.
Those of your group content to stay close to their home from home can make the most of the facilities, and there are some unforgettable days out within a short drive from the site too. The beaches of Bude are just ten minutes away by car (and you’ll find beach toys available to the cottages to make the day extra special for the little ones), and since you’ll be perfectly located for both the Coast and the Country you’ll have your choice of walks, bike rides, horse rides and places for a spot of fishing right on your doorstep.
For those times when the mums and dads fancy getting together just like old times for a few hours, a babysitting service may be able upon request. If you wouldn’t be happy exploring the Holsworthy countryside without your family pet along to catch up with the group too, you’ll find dogs are welcome at each of the cottages.
