A truly delightful character property being situated just 5 minutes stroll from the beach and town centre of Weymouth in the beautiful county of Dorset.
Number Six is a wonderfully spacious property boasting many original features and has been recently totally refurbished making it ideal for enjoying large family or group holidays or getaways.
The layout of the house includes a lovely bright and airy modern kitchen with stove, dishwasher, freezer, grill and microwave. The kitchen opens out into the dining room with seating up for up to 10 guests, which in turn has French doors opening onto the pretty garden. The light and airy living room has plenty of seating and includes a television and DVD player. This makes for a great living and entertaining space for group and family holidays.
Upstairs, house has five bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests. Bedroom 1 has an extra large double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and is also ensuite. Bedroom 3 has a double bed. Bedroom 4 has a large double bed and Bedroom 5 is on the ground floor and has a zip link King size bed which can be made into 2 singles if preferred. The Bunk Room has bunk beds and twin beds.
There are also 3 bathrooms. Bathroom 1 has a bath with shower and twin sinks. Bathrooms 2 and 3 both have showers.
Outside the property boasts a large well stocked garden in which to sit and relax and includes 10 garden chairs.
The surrounding area is bursting with activities and things to do quite apart from the fact that the magnificent Jurassic coast is directly on your doorstep. Whether you want to stay in and snuggle up in front of the fire or get outside and explore, you won't be bored.
The house is conveniently located close to the popular beach and nearby Greenhill’s lovely coastal gardens which are an award winning area over the beach and promenade. Number Six is also 5 minutes walk to the renowned Lodmoor Nature Reserve and Country Park which has a cafe, pub and restaurant, RSPB nature reserve with flat 2.5k circular walk route suitable for wheelchairs. The Sea Life centre is also on this site and features a 6 acre plot with a tropical jungle and Captain Kids World.
Locally there is access to cycling, diving, snorkelling, deepsea fishing, swimming, tennis, windsurfing, sailing, paragliding, hiking and golf. There is also a Mini Golf Course, a Model World, as well as a leisure ranch with Cresta Run, Go Cart circuit and Bumper Boats. There is a Model Railway and a 9 Hole Pitch and Putt golf course.
Weymouth was the venue for the 2012 Olympic sailing competition and the local facilities are excellent. The town centre is less than 1 mile away where there are a wide variety of shops, restaurants and entertainments. There are also shops and take aways as close as 500 yards away and a bit further afield are lovely country pubs and villages to explore.
