Rowington, an impressive detached residence in the lovely Seaside town of Weymouth is situated along a wide tree lined avenue in a sought after part of town. The spacious and airy interior has two lounges and a large kitchen / diner and with four bedrooms this is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for accommodation for an extended family or friends holidaying together. In its enclosed back garden you can adults can relax either on the decked area for an alfresco dinner or reclining on the steamer chairs whilst the lawned area is great for children to play on.Just around a five minute walk will take you to the Brewers Quay area so popular with visitors and locals as it has Hope Square with good restaurants, a pub, bistro and cafe along with an atmosphere of people enjoying life. Just next to Brewers Quay is Newton's Cove, a little pebbly beach and Nothe Gardens which overlook the sea. Alternatively just a minutes' walk from Hope Square is the pretty old harbour, the perfect place for fish and chips, or harbourside dining. Just a few minutes' stroll from the harbour is the main beach, which is long and sandy with shallow water and adjacent to the beach is the Weymouth town centre. With so much just a short walk away you may find no desire to travel further. However, you may like to explore the magnificent Jurassic Coastline, famous for its fossils and millennia of history, or one of our traditional villages such as Abbotsbury for the children's farm, tropical gardens or a cream team.

Family bathroom, Victorian claw foot bath, separate shower, hand basin and toilet. Narrow, steep cottage stairs to 3rd floor, bedroom 4,1 double and 1 single bed.
Services in addition to standard equipment;Wifi. Gas central heating. Flat screen TVs in both lounges and bedroom 4. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, I-pad docking station. Gas fire in both lounges. Large enclosed rear garden with lawns and seating area with table and chairs, garden furniture. Enclosed front garden. Cot. Bed linen and towels included. Garage (this can also be used for table tennis if you are not parking here). There is on road parking in front of Rowington.
The owners of Rowington require a £200 refundable damage deposit from Guests on booking. Subject to a satisfactory check out after your departure this will be refunded within 10 days. Please note that if you are booking online within eight weeks of your holiday date the refundable damage deposit will need to be taken in a separate transaction from your online booking and we shall ring / email you regarding this.
Rowington welcomes two well behaved dogs, over 1 year old. (The owners are happy to accept pets but due to a family member having an allergy it is important that guests adhere to our pet policy, ie no pets on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms and would appreciate if any pet can sleep in the kitchen or left unattended for short periods.)
Christmas / New Year Bookings: Owner will provide a Christmas Tree and decorations.
Short breaks out of season are welcomed at Rowington.

After a family crisis at the beginning of the holiday, it all settled down and we enjoyed every moment at the house and the weather was perfect. Had some magnificent meals out and visited all our old haunts. Dorset is a wonderful county and we all fell in love with the house which was perfect. Stayed June 2018

As usual, we have had a great time, re-discovering our favourite haunts in this part of Dorset, despite the weather! Thank you for the warmth – not just the turned-up thermostat on the heating but also the very welcome 'Welcome Pack' and the tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms. There's plenty of space to relax, with two sitting rooms, allowing our 'children' to plan for the next half term, us to watch the Olympics and catch up on news. Further entertainment of board games presented us with fun evenings and I'm sure we should have used the table tennis table if the weather had been finer )for us to venture into the back garden!). We've added a Murder Mystery to your games collection – always a good family laugh for grown-ups! The house is very well situated and the parking is great. We found everything we needed at Rowington – the tumble dryer and washing machine were very beneficial – a dream cottage to be recommended! Hopefully we shall return. Stayed February 2018.

Very efficient service from Dream Cottages. Any queries answered promptly and courteously and a simple, faultless booking service. 'Rowington' is a fabulous property. Edwardian style, really well presented and maintained. Great for a family - lots of space and a lovely garden in which children can safely play and adults can just relax. We have no hesitation in recommending 'Rowington' - just let us book our third stay before you book yours! Stayed August 2017
