    "Comfortable and conveniently-located holiday let. Inconsiderate parking of neighbour opposite house made moving vehicle in and out of the property a bit harder than it should be, but we managed. Kitchen recently refitted and was pleasant to use, but can opener broken! Upstairs notably cooler than downstairs - only an issue in cooler months. Great location - pleasant walk into Keswick and good base for touring other sites."

    "Good property, difficulty getting off drive due to the metal gates and the cars parked opposite. Have had four holidays here and hope to return again. Overall impression, a nice place and comfortable. Could be improved by having a downstairs toilet."

    "House very good, but wouldn't return as the gates to the driveway are far too narrow, particularly difficult to get in when a car and van are parked opposite. The guy who looks after the house informed me cars have been damaged getting in."

    "Location and views are fantastic. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival and all appliances are all modern and in full working order. It's clear the owner has taken a lot of pride in the presentation of this property. Only down points are minor and few. There were no tongs in the kitchen and the knives were not up to much. The seal of the double bedroom window was completely missing no issue caused by this but will need to be fixed. I found the sofa uncomfortable but nobody else in our party did. Only true gripe (which is no reflection on the property or the owner) is regarding the access to the drive which is routinely blocked by the neighbours (many houses up the street) van(s). If your driving a small car this won't be an issue, a large car or suv you may not be parking on the drive at all. The neighbour is aware but seemingly doesn't care."

    "Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday despite the awful weather conditions at times. We went out every day visiting Keswick, Derwentwater Lake tour, drive around Borrowdale, visiting Grasmere, walking up Causey Pike and walking around The Lake, Osprey viewing and a visit to Carlisle. It was lovely to come back to the warmth and comfort of S85038 and it was lovely to open the curtains in the mornings to look upon the Skiddaw range and also across to Causey Pike in the opposite direction."
