    "We could not recommend Castle Crag highly enough - a wonderful home for a week! Spotlessly clean, a very well equipped kitchen, brilliantly located (less than a ten minute stroll to the centre of Keswick), very spacious. The only very minor quibble is no tumble dryer - with four teenagers, washing was required and we couldn't get it dry (not cold enough to whack the heating on!). Failing that, a second clothes airer would be great. There are lots of books, games and DVDs in the cottage, which was a great touch, thank you."

    "Castle Crag is a very nice holiday cottage in a quiet location. There is plenty of room and the furniture is a good quality, the beds are comfortable and there is a good cooker.Down sides are a very small garden, only parking for 1 car.The reason I would not stay again is the approximately 25% increase in the cost of a week in June over the last 2 years which means it is no longer good value for money, also please tell the cleaners not to leave the floors so wet."

    "Excellent accommodation in good location; 5 minute walk to local amenities and 10 to the lake. Well appointed throughout with well equipped kitchen. Two of the 3 bedrooms are en-suite whilst the third can use main bathroom; addition of a shower in the bathroom would have been useful with 6 adults staying. Outside space is limited space wise but gets the sun the whole day. Private parking for one car is very useful as the side streets can be very busy. We'll definitely be back next year."

    "Another great stay at this comfortable home from home in Keswick. The reason I only gave a 9 for comfort and equipment is there is no tumble dryer or washing line which is a must when you are staying for 2 weeks. However this won't deter us from arranging another stay next year."
