    S85088 is a beautiful character cottage in the heart of this popular Lakeland village. Untouched for decades, the new owner completely renovated the cottage, providing every modern day convenience with all the charm and character of the original property. Features include a wood burning stove and oak beams,(low headroom on the landing) internet access and a well equipped kitchen. Threlkeld lies at the foot of mighty Blencathra, with great walking from the door, there are two good pubs and a village hall/tea room.
    Ground Floor:
    With underfloor heating downstairs and programmable convector heaters upstairs the property comprises:
    Lounge: with Apple TV, DVD/CD player, wood burning stove (initial supply of logs provided), tiled floor and beamed ceiling.
    Kitchen/Diner: with electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave.
    Bedroom 3: with 3/4 bed (access one side only) and single bed.
    First Floor:
    Master Bedroom 1: with kingsize bed, ensuite shower, WC and wash basin.
    Bedroom 2: with twin beds.
    Shower room: with shower cubicle, WC and basin.
    All electric and bed linen included. Cot available. Telephone for incoming and UK landline calls, unlimited Wi-Fi internet access.

    "A return to this excellent cottage in a lovely location with walks onto the fells from the front door, especially Blencathra. A very short walk to the horse and farrier for excellent food and real ale. Not far from Keswick and other Lakeland locations either driving, or using the bus which goes regularly from outside the farrier with connections to other parts of the lakes."

    "A very nice little cottage, ideal for walking and getting into Keswick and further afield. I think that sleeping 7 would be a real squash and it lacks facilities for that amount of people. It could do with a bathroom downstairs. It would be lovely if it had a garden, but that can't be changed. Pubs within walking distance, but no shop.Would stay there again but only the 2 of us."

    "The cottage and location were excellent, the only negative I would give is there is no garden and the write up does not make this obvious and although it does not actually say there is one the photos do look like a garden out the back. There is a small paved front garden but its faces the street so no privacy but apart from that I could not fault the cottage or area. I stayed there with 5 adult's and 2 dogs( hence needing a garden) and plenty of space for us all. Everything you could possibly need in the cottage and very clean and tidy."
