Fantastic, spacious cottage in a great location. We had everything we needed to meet all the families needs from the local park, mini golf, shopping, eating and drinking or an ideal spot to set off for a walk. We will definitely return!

4, Swiss Villas is in a very central location, with quick and easy access to the many high-quality restaurants of Ambleside, shops and park. The rooms were good sizes and there was plenty of room for us all as a family, and our dog. We enjoyed sitting outside on the bench, enjoying the views of the surrounding fells and watching the world go by. The decor is a bit tired in parts but the spacious sized rooms and central location outweighed this in our view. We had a wonderful week, made even better by stunning sunshine.

Great location - really close to the wonderful playground and level access made it easy with a pushchair. The utility area was perfect for storing all of our wet and muddy gear. Lovely little outside space to enjoy the summer evenings and inside was not at all cramped like some properties can feel.
