The first floor of Plumblands offers a tastefully decorated bedroom with charming bed linen and fantastic views over Langdale Fells, there is also a family bathroom. This cottage comes with a splendid second storey, presenting two more attractive bedrooms, one of which has prime views across Langdale Fells. Located at the Entrance to the dramatic Langdale value a haven for the true Lake District enthusiast, walking , climbing and cycling from the door. Pub, tea room and shop are 5 min walk When the sun's out, sit on your private terrace with a glass of wine and just take it all in. Chapel Stile is an excellent place to spend your holiday, a pretty, traditional village offering the essential amenities in beautiful buildings, accompanied with incredible scenery all around. There are some incredible places in this area of the Lake District National Park, with Ambleside, Bowness-on-Windermere and Kendal all nearby and offering a great range of things to do and see for everybody to enjoy. Plumblands is a fantastic cottage in a beautiful location.

A village nestled in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Chapel Stile is a gem at the bottom of Langdale Valley, flanked on one side by the River Brathay, surrounded by scenery and filled with stone buildings. The village offers a church from the mid 1800's as well as a café, a pub and a village shop over 100 years old. Chapel Stile is a base for exploring this National Park, with access to sights and fells worth visiting. You must go to Elterwater and stand on the Skelwith Bridge and take in the views. Nearby there is Ambleside and Kendal, offering views, buildings and so much to do. For you outdoors people, make sure you visit Bowness-on-Windermere, with its incredible lake activities and so much to do, it is perfect for families.
