A pretty lodge, initially I thought it was spotlessly clean until I came to prepare a meal. All saucepans needed washing, as well as other kitchen equipment. Our biggest issue, however, was with the WiFi, or basically the fact that there wasn’t any. As we had a teenager in our party, WiFi was a major consideration in choosing this accommodation as it was advertised as having free wifi. The on site guy though readily admitted that the wifi system was seriously lacking and provided us on our third day with a different tv that contained a DVD player as lack of wifi meant we couldn’t even access Netflix etc on the smart TV. The lodge description, however, said a DVD player should have already been provided within the accommodation.Our other issue was with the hot tub. Beautiful once in, but as sunken into the floor with no handrail at an appropriate height, it was very hard to access for older people from the slippery deck.
