The property boasts high ceilings throughout, even in the basement, and a great sense of light and space adds to the cottage experience. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many insightful walks, mountain biking, and the Go Ape adventure park. Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are not too far away. A wonderful location to begin a relaxing holiday.
The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere in the Lake District National Park boast a range of attractions, amenities, shops and restaurants, plus boat trips are available from Bowness to Ambleside and Lakeside. The region also features many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports.

Great central location to walk into Bowness and Windermere. The property is lovely, comfy beds and all you need in the kitchen. The log burner and underfloor heating made it cosy and warm. Parking space is tight but a great bonus as the surrounding roads are busy. We would definitely like to come back and stay again. Thank you

Property was in a fantastic location, quick and easy walk to restaurants bars and the lake. Really well equipped, theyâd thought of EVERYTHING (other than shower gel, which we didnât take as would have expected). Itâs a beautifully presented and spacious house. Weâd definitely book this again if/when returning to Windermere.
