    Victor – 7 Nov 2018
"We had a pleasant short stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely go back. Loved the area."
    Angela – 10 Oct 2018
"One of the best holiday 'cottages' we have ever stayed in! 'Cottage' is a bit of misnomer as The Coach House is a gorgeous house. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. Lovely comfy beds. Located in a pretty village with a handy shop and pub. If ever we are visiting the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire area again, The Coach House would be our number one choice for accommodation."
    Christopher – 1 Oct 2018
"Wonderful holiday in a lovely location. The area is rich in history with many gardens and country houses to visit. The cottage was excellent - full of interesting antiques, but very well equipped and heated. The gas AGA was a joy once we were used to it."
    Roy – 17 Sep 2018
"I was never so comfortable.Already planning to return next year."
    DJ – 9 Aug 2018
"Styling of the interior is great with 2 sitting rooms. Lot's of character. However the interior is very dark (not a lot of windows). We felt a bit locked up in this cottage. The owners are living in the attached main house and are very kind and leave you alone (that's good). It was very warm the week we stayed and the kitchen was equipped with an AGA that was constantly burning. The temparature in the kitchen was 30 degrees !!!. It felt liked a sauna so we only used it twice. We are not familiar with an AGA. Some will love it. We hate it (the AGA that is). Outside space is limited and not private. There is some garden furniture. Nice to look at but not useable/practical. The ramp from the road to the property is pretty steep. So if you own a car with low ground clearance you will scratch your bumper."

"A lovely place to stay - very comfortable, and supplies with everything you could wish for, all surrounded by lovely antiques so you feel as if you are staying in your own mini stately home. Lovely having an aga as well!"
    lynn – 8 Jun 2018
"Beyond expectations, many thanks for all your help."
    John – 29 May 2018
"This cottage is ideally located for Walking, Cycling & Fishing enthusiasts. It has been modernised to give you all the comforts of home yet the owners have succeeded in keeping its character. Only a short walk away there is a Post Office/Shop here you can buy some necessary staples but for your main shopping you will have to go to Corby where there is a Aldi and a Asda superstore. Not far from the shop there is the local pub unfortunately they do not server meals but it is a pleasant place to have a drink. The owners of the cottage have provided a list of where to go for meals and places to see. The owners are very friendly and pleasant to talk to my brother and I had a number of conversations with them. THIS COTTAGE HAS BEEN PLACED ONTO OUR TO GO AGAIN LIST."
    Sue – 24 May 2018
"A lovely stylish cottage in a glorious position for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The attractive village has a very useful village shop/post office."
    Horne – 28 Apr 2018
"The cottage is beautiful and has lots of charm. We had fun using the Aga for cooking. Everything you want in a holiday let was there. The owners were very helpful. Would recommend this property highly for location and comfort."
    Sarah – 21 Apr 2018
"Great place to stay. Very well equipped. Owners rectified problem with hot water as soon as we mentioned it. Only addition I would suggest is an indoor clothes airer."
    PETER – 24 Mar 2018
"Wonderful cottage, cosy and comfortable with all mod cons, including an AGA. Friendly village and close to various attractions."
