Cley-next-the-Sea is a well-known village on the north Norfolk coast, famous for its landmark windmill, smokehouse and delicatessen. It also has a number of art galleries, tea shops and pubs and it is only a short walk across the marshes to the sea. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust centre is just a quick drive along the coast and is a haven for walkers and birdwatchers and there are pretty villages to visit all along the coast, each with their own character and style. Historic houses in the area include Holkham Hall, Blicking and Felbrigg Hall and the elegant Georgian town of Holt is just 4 miles away.
