The house is charming, a bit quirky, beautifully furnished, well-equipped and a really fun, cosy place to stay. We appreciated the lovely Christmas decorations and hamper too. It was ideal for our stay and we al loved it. The only reason it didn't get a 5* was because of the road immediately by the house, although to be honest it didn't adversely affect us. It might well do so in summer, or if you have young children. I thoroughly recommend the house for 6 - it might be a little tight for 8 people, especially for bathrooms. Thank you so much for a truly great break.

A wonderfully quirky house full of character. We stayed with 4 couples and it was great to have so many double beds and the space was plenty big enough. A great base for exploring the area.

Beautiful house which has plenty of room for our family - three generations and dogs! Lovely touches and extras, for example there was blueberry muffins which were lovely. Well equipped so home from home really. It does need some TLC and the flooring is very creaky but it didn’t put us off. Definitely visit again.
