Stunning Beadnell Cottage sleeping up to 5 guests

S84827 is a beautiful detached house, nestled behind the sand dunes of Beadnell Bay. This stunning property sits within a development of similar clapboard-style properties, known as Beadnell Point. The property is well presented throughout, with full height glass windows in the open plan living space, enhancing its bright and airy ambience, along with the friendly comfort of the wood burner. All three bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, are beautifully furnished with much care, thought and attention to detail. The fresh bathroom has the added convenience of a separate shower cubicle too. A south and west facing decked area is perfect for dining al fresco and embracing the sea air. There is an external store suitable for bikes/surfing equipment and an external tap for hosing off sand and salt.
Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and offers local facilities including a village shop and family friendly pubs serving good food. The wide expanse of golden sandy beach which Beadnell Bay is renowned for, is within a gentle stroll of the house. The area is a popular destination for walkers, birdwatchers and water sports enthusiasts with activities including sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving. Beadnell Bay can truly be described as the jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown.
Just 2 miles along the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Here you will find fish and chip shops, several charming tea rooms, quaint pubs, shops, fishing and golf. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, with its beach and sand dunes in the shadow of its majestic castle. Further down the coastline is the fishing village of Craster, famous for its kippers, and just a short walk along the coastal path from the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. A few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle and a film location for Harry Potter. Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular garden including the grand waterfall, and where you can also dine within Europe’s largest tree house! Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.

"Great holiday home, very comfortable. We just thought it could have done with a really good clean, don’t get me wrong it was clean on our arrival but not that spotless, fresh smelling clean, we found an empty water bottle near the sofa and also a dog biscuit lying on the floor which implied to me it hadn’t had a good clean. Past all of that it is a great base for exploring this beautiful part of pur country"

"Really lovely cottage /house, very comfortable and felt at home immediately. The area is beautiful and access to the beach is very straightforward. The local pub "The Craster Arms" is a stiff walk but well worth a visit for excellent food and Seahouses has a number of alternative eateries."
    Deborah – 19 Oct 2018
"Beautiful house, well equipped, great location near to beach and surrounding places of interest."

"A beautiful house the only reason we wouldn’t stay again was the lack of privacy, you were overlooked no matter where you sat.The cleaning was not up to scratch dead flies and moths on upper window sills, food debris left in dishwasher."
    Jackie – 17 Aug 2018
"The house itself was excellent, well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious for five. Beds and showers were great. The wifi is very limited. The grounds are not well maintained and this is a real shame. Weeds are abundant in the surrounding flowerbeds. The beach is fabulous and less than five minutes away: never crowded, always spotless. The coast path is also close, we enjoyed many scenic coastal walks. Overall, a great fortnight but the maintenance company need to get to grips with the landscaping."
    Simon – 27 Jul 2018
"A good property very close to a fantastic beach. We had a great week visiting the nearby castles and beaches. Some minor items were disappointing (only part toilet rolls and no spares, no washing up liquid, no kitchen roll, no spare bin liners) but the rooms are very good sizes and nicely furnished."

"Lovely house and a ideal base for a holiday on the Northumbrian coast. Beadnell bay is lovely with one shop, one pub and one cafe/bistro.House was beautifully decorated and fully equipped. One slight negative was the kitchen just needed a quick wipe over as there was food splashed on the cupboards and wall, would recommend and would definitely love to return."

"A beautiful cottage in a great location only a few minutes walk from the beach plus its dog friendly .I will be returning again to S84827 , I would recommend it to others to book .5 star plus"

"A fabulous property. Quality furnishings and spotless clean. The open plan layout and large windows give it a very spacious feel. The house has everything you could need, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are of a high quality.S84827 is an ideal base for exploring the many interesting places along the Northumbrian coast. Bednall Bay and it's miles of gorgeous sand is literally on the doorstep. The well-stocked village shop, top-rate pub and bistro are all an easy walk away along the seafront."
    Ian – 2 Mar 2018
"The house was lovely and warm when we arrived and we liked the downstairs because it was open plan."
    Helen – 23 Feb 2018
"Superb value for money when compared with other properties locally. Everything we needed was there.Site will hopefully improve as last details are finished off.Access road very narrow making parking awkward. One comlaint: On entry to house a foul smell met us....the culprit?A floor mop, which we had to put outside for the week. All in all a brilliant place to stay. Would recommend it to everyone."
    Paul – 9 Feb 2018
"We saw this place on line like all the other places we have booked the difference this time was that the house far exceeded our expectation when we got there. Although it’s modern (very new ) it was very cosy , superbly finished and furnished, had all the facilities you could want and was only a couple of minutes from a beautiful Northumberland beach. Great pub with good food in the village. A great stay and we will want to return ( in fact my wife was considering getting the locks changed and squatting!) perfect for dog owners too - mine is still sleeping off all that exercise . Loved it"
    Gillian – 15 Sep 2017
"A lovely well furnished and equipped house minutes from the beach. Comfy beds, great kitchen. Beadnell has 2 pubs, cafe, shop, fish and chip van, regular bus service. Miles of sandy beaches. Would stay again and thoroughly recommend."
