Entering through the front door of the cottage you walk into the spacious, comfortable sitting room which leads through into the large well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The kitchen/diner is bright and sleek and has everything you could possibly require to cater for all eventualities, be it a celebratory dinner or a picnic on the beach. The sitting room has huge, sumptuous sofas which invite you to curl up and relax whilst taking in the amazing sea and coastal views. Completing the accommodation are three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom facilities. On sunny days the rear garden is a lovely spot to linger over a glass of wine or two and watch the sun descend to the west. The delightful village of Warkworth is just a five minute drive away, with gorgeous shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, as well as Warkworth Castle towering above it all, a fine example of a 14th century fortress. Alternatively take a boat to the Warkworth Hermitage, a medieval cave or just chill out on the banks of the River Coquet and watch the river make its way to the coast at Amble. Amble, Alnmouth and Craster are all within easy reach and have excellent pubs and restaurants or take in Alnwick Castle and its impressive garden, just a 15 minute drive away. Warkworth is a picturesque village, dominated by the dramatic ruins of its 12th century castle. The Percys other home is nearby Alnwick Castle, most recently associated with Harry Potter. The main street is lined with Georgian and early Victorian houses and there is an exceptional range of galleries, antiques shops, a village shop/Post Office, pubs, restaurants and gift shops. Warkworth has its own stretch of sandy beach and a 9 hole pay and play golf course.
