    A large Victorian house in a stunning location overlooking the famous Monsal Dale. Castle Cliffe is a beautifully refurbished property which can comfortably accommodate up to 22 people in its 9 bedrooms and spacious reception rooms. It is ideally situated at the very centre of the Peak District National Park.

    The kitchen is really well equipped and has everything you need to produce a sumptuous meal while the large dining room will comfortably seat your entire group. There are two sitting rooms, one large enough to take all of your guests and the other big enough for 10/12 people to chill out if the partying becomes too much!

    Upstairs there are 9 bedrooms over two floors, seven of which are en-suite and the other two sharing the use of a newly refurbished bathroom. Most of the rooms are flexible and can sleep people in either twin or double/king sized beds. All of the rooms have views, several over the famous Monsal Dale, the others with equally lovely vistas over typical Peak District scenery.

    Outside, space is not a problem. The dining room leads through a french door onto an attractive walled garden where a patio with outdoor seating and barbecue will enable you to dine al fresco. Beyond this is a car park for 12 cars, a further garden and a mown field. There is masses of space for a game of rounders, football or whatever activity you have in mind, all of it surrounded by magnificent scenery.

    Not only is the setting beautiful but it is also very well situated in terms of amenities. There are two pubs within a short stroll of the house, Bakewell is just 5 minutes drive, Chatsworth 10 minutes and the towns of Buxton and Matlock a 15 minute hop. As far as the Peak District is concerned Castle Cliffe couldn't be more central!

    There are numerous walks straight from the door, (maps with suggested routes are provided) and, if cycling is your thing, then the Monsal Trail, just a stones throw away and with 8.5 miles of traffic free pathway, makes a very good place to start.A beautiful Victorian house, set in the centre of The Peak District, overlooking the stunning Monsal Dale and comfortably sleeping up to 22 guests.
