The location is appreciated for its easy access to local shops, the town centre, and outdoor activities in the Peak District. The presence of free parking nearby and the property's proximity to the town centre were seen as positives.
Reviewers were delighted with the comfortable bedrooms, often highlighting the Super King or King-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms. The overall comfort of the property was highly rated.

The house has a stunning kitchen with an island and stools, all the equipment you should need, and is kitted out to cater to a house full with plenty of fridge space, wine fridge and two dishwashers. The kitchen is open plan to a relaxed dining area with bench seating and log burner, and there is a utility area off from the kitchen where you can store your walking boots and coats plus a washing machine. There is a large living room with ample, comfortable seating, large TV and a wood burner, a games room with a pool table and an array of board games to choose from, as well as a more formal dining room overlooking the garden. Upstairs on the first floor are four comfortable bedrooms, the master is incredibly spacious with dual aspect views and an impressive en-suite with a roll-top stand-alone bath and double shower. The other rooms on the first floor all are bright and spacious with en-suite bathrooms plus a toilet, all rooms have been named making it easy to know what is where. On the second floor are the remaining four bedrooms, the difference on the second floor is that the bedrooms Tittlesworth and Dovedale share a bathroom and there is an interconnecting door, perfect for a small family, there is also the addition of an extra single bed in the Tittlesworth. The manicured garden offers a private and relaxing outdoor area where lawn games can be played, a barbecue, and a long table with chairs to seat all guests, plus a 7-seater hydrotherapy spa pool to relax in at the end of the day.
The town of Leek sits in Staffordshire where you can explore its scenic moorlands, there are great walks such as The Roaches or Hartington Dales, and aside from walks, there are many other activities for you all to enjoy such as Alton Towers theme park being a short drive away as well as Water World. Trentham makes for a fantastic day out also, not only is it great for shopping at Trentham Shopping Village but you can also walk around Monkey Forest where there are over 140 monkeys.

An excellent house for a large party of friends. Ready access to several very good walks. Lovely support from the house manager and owners.

Super house, well maintained and clean, everything worked. Very nice place to stay with local shops and things to do not far away. Pity there is no on-site parking, but in the event parking did not turn out to be a problem. Thoroughly recommend it for a group stay.

Fantastic accommodation and garden. Our annual family gathering (11 of us plus two dogs) couldn’t have been in better surroundings. Some might find the traffic noise and church bells somewhat off-putting but they didn’t impact too much on our 3-night stay.Whilst the lack of on-site parking was a negative theoretically, in practice the adjacent market square free parking proved okay, even on the busy Saturday. We found plenty to do during our short stay….rock climbing and rugged walks in the Peak District…. and our Saturday night meal at the nearby DuckGoose bistro was first class in quality and service. Some good coffee and breakfast units too in the Leek town centre.A really superb location for our annual get-together.
