Exton is a village set in the East Midlands county of Rutland. The Fox and Hounds public house offers cosy winter evenings around the fireplace and lazy summer days out in the beer garden. Oakham is the nearest town, boasting a combination of stone and thatched buildings, a range of shops, as well as pubs, bars and eateries to choose from. There is also a local history museum, a 12th century castle and a 14th century church. The Rutland Water Nature Reserve offers watersports, a small water adventure park, birdwatching, a sailing club and fishing opportunities.
