Muddy Manor Barn is found in the grounds of an historic manor beside the remains of the moat. This large barn has been carefully converted into a comfortable and spacious holiday haven, retaining as much of the original fabric as possible including beautiful exposed beams and inglenook fireplace.

The two story glazed dining room contains a dining table to seat 16, so it's perfect for celebrations and big family gatherings. There are 6 large bedrooms, one of which has a four-poster bed (no arguing over that one, please!). The others all have twin or double zip-n-link beds. Three of the bedrooms also have a seating area with a luxury double sofa bed, ideal if you want to take some time out and enjoy a little solitude.

Outside, guests will find the new 6 seat hot tub to relax at the end of the day, where they can kick back with a cocoa or a glass of wine and admire the stars.

The market town of Yeovil is nearby, where you'll find all the usual big town facilities. The exquisite hamstone abbey town of Sherborne is only a 10 minute drive away, and makes a great destination for a day trip, offering a fantastic selection of independent shops and restaurants, as well as two castles! 

The area is known for its quality gastropubs plus the International Haynes Motor Museum, Fleet Air Arm museum, Montacute House, and the Vale of Camelot where King Arthur's legendary Cadbury Castle is (reputedly!) situated.

There is a local pub and Tesco express within a 10 minute walk from the barn.

Accommodation

The Barn is set in the small estate and enjoys a good deal of privacy, set at the end of a private road.
Inside there are 7 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a wet room, galleried entrance hall, very large dining room, living room with inglenook fireplace and log burner.
- Bedroom 1: Twin beds and a double sofa bed
- Bedroom 2: Four poster king size bed
- Bedroom 3: Twin beds
- Bedroom 4:  Twin Beds
- Bedrooms  5/6: Interconnected bedrooms, Bedroom 5 has a single bed and a double sofa bed. Bedroom 6 has twin beds.
- Bedroom 7: Twin beds and a single sofa bed, the room is located on the ground floor.
All twin beds are left as twins and are zip-link so can be made as doubles if required.
The Farmhouse kitchen overlooks the lawn offering 2 large tables so everyone can sit together. Doors open out to the outdoor seating area  making it the perfect spot for a Summer BBQ.
The Sitting Room is very cosy and comfortable space with a log burner. There's plenty of room to sit for groups on the 3 sofas, 2 armchairs and an extra bench. There is a rock 'n' roll TV room, and a games room with a pool and air hockey table.
Outside there is a small, enclosed children's play area, stables and a private meadow that's perfect for picnics and outdoor games.
The generous family farmhouse kitchen is well equipped for cooking and craft activities and the adjacent games room has a pool and ice hockey table.
There is a charming BBQ area with seating for 20 people. Guest can also relax and unwind in the new hot tub with room for 6 people.
