This holiday rental is set on a quiet lane overlooking open countryside with a walled fully enclosed garden including a pond. There is a Loggia open on two sides under tiled roof with timber decking, power and lighting connected for external dining.
Nearby, there are plenty of places to visit, including the small market town of Crewkerne (2.5 miles) with two supermarkets and a range of shops and services including a swimming pool.
Additional Information:
A sixth guest can be accommodated by using the pull-out bed in the ground floor bedroom. Please request when making your booking.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to be kept to the ground floor and garden please (small additional charge).
Walled, fully enclosed garden including a pond - parents, please ensure children are supervised at all times.
A travel cot, stairgate and high chair are available on request.
Plasma TV in sitting room and bedroom one. DVD player. Playstation 3. TV and docking station in kitchen.

Great cottage with ample space and garden. Next to a pleasant and quiet village in Dorset (though no shops). Being an old schools adds additional character. Minor issue is that some of the bathroom fixtures were dated and could use a refresh.

Lovely quirky old schoolhouse very nice garden in quiet location with good walks and good pubs. Would definitely go back.

Don't like criticising but...........The Old School is in a lovely garden, but the property is tired, needs upgrading, although the kitchen was very good and well equipped. Lounge seating old, blinds chords too high to use, showers poor, front gates not able to close, woodburner not cleaned and ash box full on arrival. Housekeeper could have been more friendly. Not up to Rural retreats standard as we have stayed in lots of others.
